What is a Liquizon?

The Amazon
Rainforest is home to more plant species than
anywhere else on Earth. This makes them the most
complex, the most diverse, and the most evolved
in terms of phytochemistry. The Indigenous
people of Amazonia have used thousands of these
plants for ages. By merging Indigenous wisdom
with modern, scientific knowledge, research and
technology, the Amazon Herb Co. creates the most
effective combinations of select botanicals.
Sustainability is
at the heart of everything we do. Before
harvesting botanicals, Indigenous groups must
obtain collections permits from the
Reforestation Committee. Collection permits
ensure collection is done in an ecologically
sound manner and does not harm the plant
species. Doing this not only preserves the
Rainforest, it also makes the land more
economically valuable than if turned into
lumber, cattle fields or soy farms. After
harvest, the botanicals are brought to the
Amazon Herb Co.’s own processing facility in
Peru.
At the Amazon Herb
processing facility, botanicals are inspected by
an independent botanist who certifies correct
genus and species. Next comes cleaning and
warm-air drying, and a phytosanitary
certification confirming the botanicals are
clean of debris. They are bagged up and loaded
onto a
truck for a drive over the Andes to the seaport
for shipping. Here, export documentation is
completed and the bags are loaded onto a ship
for a 20-day journey to the Port of Miami.
When the raw
material arrives at the Port of Miami, it must
pass a series of inspections by U.S. Customs,
Food & Drug Administration, and the Department
of Agriculture. Amazon Herb Co. has chosen a
more expensive and more time-consuming hand
inspection process at this point in order to
prevent fumigation or irradiation. When the raw
material arrives at the lab in Jupiter, Fla.,
lot samples are taken out for quality control
analysis. This consists of inspection by a
certified FDA microbiologist, who checks the raw
material for harmful micro-organisms.
After passing
rigorous inspections, the pure, raw material is
first ground into a predefined particulate size.
This makes extraction of the numerous beneficial
compounds in each of the plants most efficient.
Most Amazon Herb formulas are blends of a number
of different botanicals, specially formulated to
provide the best results.
After grinding,
the raw botanicals are put into large
flow-through extraction vats along with
high-quality, pure grain alcohol and water. The
vats are then placed in a pressing machine to
separate the liquid from the remaining plant
material. This process extracts the bioactive
components soluble in water and alcohol. The
remaining plant material (also known as the
“mark”), is rich in trace minerals and other
compounds beneficial to health. This leads us to

After the
remaining plant fiber is separated from the
liquid extract, the next step is to reduce the
fiber to an ash. This is done by running the
material through a high temperature kiln. The
heat in the kiln burns away residual material,
leaving a concentrated alkaline ash made up of
trace minerals which are an important, yet often
neglected component of health and vitality.
After cooling off
a bit, the ash is mixed with pure water and
placed in a very special machine known as an
oscillator. The ash and water solution is
vibrated in the oscillator at an extremely high
rate. What this super-high vibration does is
imprint the water with the subtle energetics of
the mineral ash. This makes the beneficial
properties of the ash available to the body,
while allowing the larger particles in the ash
to be disposed of. This liquid is then mixed
with the alcohol/water extract.
This blended liquid is what has become popular
as the Amazon Herb spagyric extract liquid
formulas. With the introduction of Liquizons, an
even more advanced delivery technology, you have
the full benefit and
bioavailability of the liquid extract in a
convenient, concentrated Liquizon capsule.
The photo to the
left is of a new machine known as the Rotovap.
The two liquids (alcohol/water extract and
mineral ash extract) are blended together and
placed in a large glass beaker. The beaker rests
in a vat of warm water and is hooked up to a
low-pressure vacuum and rotation device. The
gentle heat and low-pressure vacuum cause the
water and alcohol to rise to the surface and
evaporate off. It essentially gases off all
alcohol in the original liquid, and most of the
water. The result is a liquid nine times more
concentrated than the original solution.
After going
through the Rotovap, the concentrated liquid is
inspected using special testing procedures to
ensure the final product has the best potency
and quality available. Once the concentrated
liquid has passed this inspection, it is ready
to be placed in convenient vegetarian capsules.
The
super-concentrated, alcohol-free “liquid
botanicals” are carefully placed inside capsules
made entirely of vegetable cellulose. The full
spectrum of phytonutrients in each botanical is
condensed into super-potent Liquizons. After
going through the encapsulation machine, each
Liquizon is both machine and hand inspected for
quality.
