Fiberzon™ is a

synergistic blend of fibers and botanicals that

One of the main
actions of Fiberzon on the digestive system
comes from psyllium husk and slippery elm bark.
Both of these natural ingredients have the
ability to absorb large amounts of water and
thereby expand.
The intestinal
wall is covered with billions of microscopic
foldings called “villi;” These villi
dramatically increase the area of contact
between food and the bloodstream, facilitating
the absorption of nutrients. If the human
intestinal wall were stretched flat it would
cover the surface of a tennis court!
Debris of all kinds
can remain lodged between villi and will
putrefy, leading to a plethora of health
problems. It is important to regularly cleanse
the intestine. When blended with a a large
amount of water and drunk immediately, psyllium
husk will penetrate the debris and then expand
as it absorbs water: breaking the debris in
pieces. Slippery elm bark contains compounds
that facilitate the movement of the debris
outside of the body. When combined, psyllium
husk and slippery elm bark function like a broom
to cleanse the intestinal wall.
The presence of Artichoke leaf is also
important, as it provides good nutrients for
friendly intestinal bacteria, enabling them to
proliferate and colonize the parts of the
intestinal wall that have just been cleansed.
